CHAVA & CHARLIE - How My Grandparents Fell In Love: A New Musical Book Cary Gitter, Music Neil Berg, Lyrics Neil Berg & Cary Gitter South Florida Theatrical Concert Premier! In 1933, Charlie, a Polish-born Jew, returns to Rovno after ten years in America seeking a bride. He meets Chava, a determined young woman who dreams of becoming a scholar. As he courts her with charm and persistence, she remains focused on her future amid rising antisemitism. This true story is a warm and moving tale of connection, hope, and resilience in uncertain times. Parking: Location: Parking & Valet Services Free parking is available in the lots adjacent to the venue along NE 188th street in front of the Aventura Community Recreation Center and the Aventura City of Excellence School Valet Service: Valet Service is available for most performances at $10 per vehicle. All patrons can find valet parking in front of the venue in the circular driveway.
